The bible reading this week is:
Luke 18:18-30
Sunday, 26th January at 3pm there will be a short memorial service at church
where we have the opportunity to light a candle and sing hymns with an organist and give thanks to God
for the lives of all loved ones who have (recently) passed.
Refreshments will be served afterwards in the parish centre.

Haverut, the women's group, is meeting again on the 1st February 10:30am at Haskin's Garden Centre.
From 2nd February 2025, parents in the village may leave their children with our Big Fish group at 10:30am and pick them up at 12noon.
This is a provision for the village on the first Sunday of each month.
Pilates for seniors, hosted by Miranda, is returning on 14th February at the usual times of 1:30pm to 2:30pm in the Octagon room.
Due to requests from members, the fee for the classes will be raised from £7 to £10.
Everyone who is in a small group or would like to be in a small group is welcome to attend our Small groups training on 15th February.
Bacon rolls or pastries and coffee available from 10am to 12noon in the parish centre.

Cleaners are needed to help clean the church. All material and equipment provided.
Around an hour and a half of your time.
The more volunteers that are willing to help would reduce the pressure and timetable.
