Giving at St James'

All the work at St. James' is funded directly by the generosity of our congregation and visitors

You can contribute to the life and work of St James' in many different ways. While the information below relates to financial giving, there are many other ways of getting involved at St James'.

We encourage all those who consider St. James’ to be their spiritual home to pray about how they can financially support the ministry and mission of the church. Current giving options are:

1.  St. James' Parish Giving Scheme

Whether you wish to make a one-off donation, or set up a regular gift to help fund the work of St. James' Church, we ask all our supporters to use our Parish Giving page.  This allows us to reclaim Gift Aid quickly and easily (worth an additional 25p in every pound) and ensures donations reach our account with no other deductions.  If you are able to set up a regular gift, this allows us to plan our activities from year to year. The easiest and most efficient way to give regularly is to set up a Direct Debit via our Parish Giving page.

Click here to start.  (This link takes you to our Parish Giving page.)

If you need any assitance, our Treasurer Andrew Fewster will be happy to answer any queries or help get you set up.

2. Contactless Giving

One off donations can be made using your contactless bank card. A terminal is located at the back of the church, available whenever the church is open
