Could you join our dedicated team here at St. James’ Church? 

We are currently looking to fill the following roles:

Church Administrator

Approximately 15 hours a week (mornings and term time only) with remuneration up to £12 an hour depending on experience

We are offering a part-time administrative role for anyone who is enthusiastic about God and people.  This is a great opportunity to be part of a friendly team of committed professionals who want to serve the local community.

Youth Minister

Full Time - £21-£23,000 p.a. (dependent on experience) with accommodation provided.

We are offering a full time role with excellent opportunities for an experienced and entrepreneurial leader to build and develop the existing youth work at an exciting time of growth in our church.  Our volunteers are passionate and committed, our weekly youth group are ‘hungry’ for God (and food!) and links with local schools are deep and fruitful but there is more we could do!

PCC Treasurer

This volunteer role involves ensuring the PCC follows all necessary legal duties to pay invoices, fees due to the Diocese, taxes and other outgoings, as well as staff salaries.  It also involves ensuring income from services (such as weddings and funerals), donations, legacies and gift aid are all received and banked.  The Treasurer prepares reports for the PCC so that the overall financial management of the church is communictaed clearly and accurately allowing the PCC to make key missional decisions.

This role involves around 5-6 hours per week.
