This year we will be supporting the Samaritan’s Purse shoe box project.

Leaflets are available at the back of church so please take one.

You obtain a shoe box, wrap it in wrapping paper (wrap the lid separately) and fill it with toys and gifts.The leaflet has useful ideas. The leaflet also has a label which you attach to the lid with details of whether the gift is for a boy or girl and three age ranges. You can pay the £5 donation either online, which is easier, or in an envelope in the box. 

Many of the children these boxes go to are in very deprived families, or in orphanages and have never received a gift before. The gifts are distributed by churches close to where the children live so it is a great opportunity for outreach.  We will be collecting the boxes into church on the 10th November but you can bring them in any time convenient. Please join in and make a child’s Christmas a happy one this year.
